Jimmy Stewart is excited about joining Team Wuerffel as official photographer

The Wuerffel Trophy is proud to announce that Jimmy Stewart of Blacksuit FM Photography and Design Studio has joined Team Wuerffel as our official photographer.

A native of the Fort Walton Beach and Destin area, Jimmy spent 20 + years as a lead graphic designer for Edwin Watts Golf Shops, and also along the way, gained extensive expertise as a professional photographer.

“As a native of Fort Walton Beach, and witnessing first hand the legacy Danny Wuerffel has contributed to our local community, it’s a great honor to be a part of such a worthwhile local event such as the Wuerffel Trophy," said Stewart. "Having been a local photographer and graphic designer my whole professional career, I’ve been able to work with many of our local businesses, schools and visiting patrons. I’m happy to now be working with you all in support of our community."

Jimmy's company, Blacksuit FM Photography and Design, is well known and highly respected in Northwest Florida and the surrounding area. He can be reached at ‭(850) 582-2699‬ or by email at

Why was the Wuerffel Trophy created?  We felt that there was a void in major college football awards. Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel put it best when he wrote, “The Wuerffel. It’s about time. There’s an award for the best quarterback, best running back, wide receiver, best linebacker, best center and even best kicker and punter. Why not one for the best human being?”
